地震で揺れやすい地域・土地は？

地震が先週もありました。なんだか全国あちこちでよく揺れています。この前の地震の時はオフィスにいました。20階以上のところにあるので、地震が終わったあともビルそのものがゆっくりと揺れていました。おそらく耐震のためにそういった作りになっているものと思われます。

地震による揺れの大きさは、「地震の規模（マグニチュード）」、「震源からの距離」、そして「表層地盤」から決まるようです。これは単に全く同じ震源からの距離であっても、表層地盤によって揺れの大きさが実際に異なってくるという事を示唆しているのだと思います。

さて、そんな中で内閣府から「表層地盤の揺れやすさ全国マップ」が発表されました。

「表層地盤のゆれやすさ全国マップ」について

中央防災会議「東海地震に関する専門調査会」、「東南海、南海地震等に関する専門調査会」、「首都直下地震対策専門調査会」、「日本海溝・千島海溝周辺海溝型地震に関する専門調査会」では、防災対策の検討のため、震度分布の推計等を行ってきました。今般、この一連の調査結果を整理したことにより、「表層地盤のゆれやすさ全国マップ」がまとまりましたので、公表します。

だそうです。しかもその発表のなかで、

３．　我が国では、関東平野、大阪平野、濃尾平野などの平野部に多くの人が住んでいますが、このような地域は今回のマップから、やわらかい地盤で覆われ、ゆれが大きくなることが分かります。防災対策上、そのような場所を知っておくことは重要です。特にゆれやすい地域にお住まいの方には、家具の固定、住宅の耐震診断や耐震補強などの対策を優先的に行うなど、日頃の地震への備えの参考としていただきたいと考えています。

うーん、我が家はそんなに揺れやすいところではありませんでした。

しかし東京都の東側、江戸川とか葛飾、そこから千葉県にかけては最も揺れやすいところにはいっていますね。う～ん。
